Delilah Freddy Puruntatameri has exhibited regularly in Jilamara group exhibitions since 1996, and had her first solo exhibition of works on paper at Alcaston Gallery, Melbourne in 2003.
Delilah is the daughter of the late renowned artist Paddy Freddy Puruntatameri, and sister to leading Tiwi carvers Patrick Freddy Puruntatameri and Matthew Freddy Puruntatameri. She has lived most of her life at Milikapiti, with her family and alongside her family of artists has been an integral member of Jilamara. In 2003 Delilah moved to Garden Point with her mother Rachelle, to be close to her traditional country, but remains an active member of Jilamara Arts and Craft Association.
