About Gallery Gondwana Fiji
Gallery Gondwana was established in 1990 in Alice Springs Australia and is internationally recognised as a leader in the field of indigenous art, provenance assured.
Gondwana is the name of the great southern land when the whole Pacific region was connected as one supercontinent. Since its inception, it has always been the vision of Gallery Gondwana to showcase art from this entire region.
We are proud to have now opened a gallery in Fiji in the beautiful region of Denarau Island. Overlooking the golf course, we are situated in the Industrial Estate, just minutes walk or short taxi ride from the Marina or hotels.
Gallery Gondwana Fiji is owned by internationally acclaimed multi media artist Rusiate Lali and the founder of Gallery Gondwana, Roslyn Premont.
The eclectic art on display showcases the many influences of the Fijian artists, reflecting on the culture both past and present, and looking to the future. From religious iconography, Fijian symbolism, to modern interpretation of what makes Fiji what it is today, we are excited by what is currently produced by today’s artists in Fiji.
