Navigating by the stars, Rusiate’s ancestors travelled throughout the Pacific Ocean in outriggers, finally settling in Rewa, Fiji.

The ancestor’s hair is shown blowing in the wind and the artist’s use of strong red colours summons up the courage and passion it took to undergo such an extensive journey into the unknown.
