Her paintings are a vibrant celebration of bush foods, reflecting her deep cultural heritage. Bonita's art often features her totems, the goanna and snake, along with other bush foods like witchetty grubs, honey ants, and berries. These totems are believed to have shaped the landforms and landscapes during the Creation Era, a time celebrated in various ceremonies.
