The artist wants us to open our eyes and be aware of the dangerous path we are taking if we don’t care for mother earth.

Vision is necessary to help the part fish, part animal, part human (symbolizing the interconnectedness of everything) who is currently walking a tight rope down a slippery path. Poetry filtering throughout the painting gives warning of the perils ahead.
