In this sublime miniature work the artist has given extra arms and legs (some carried by angel wings) towards the Horseman to give added protection for his journey. The horse and the horseman are deeply connected and share the same essence and structure.
This work is delicate, yet packed with the artist’s touch. There is his trademark graphic black and white design elements, his use of red, and the symbolism carried in the lines and pattern, delicately etched into such a small space.
